What services do you offer?We offer a range of services for seniors or disabled clients: 1. Personal Care 2. Companionship 3. Respite Care 4. Transportation 5. Medication Reminders 6. Light Housekeeping

We are concerned that our loved one is lonely, can you help with that?Yes, one of the services that we offer is companion care. Our friendly caregivers will visit clients and provide companionship. We engage clients to brighten their days, whether they are there just to listen and converse or play cards & board games, your loved ones will be taken care of as though they are our family.

How do I get started?That's easy. Contact us by phone or email and we will set up a free home assessment done by one of our care managers at your home. We will talk about your needs, how best we can meet them, then we will select a team of caregivers that are qualified to meet your needs and we will set up the service based on your schedule.

How long is the wait time for services?Our caregivers are ready to start when you decide you would like to start the service.

We are the primary caregivers to our loved one and need someone to come in to give us a break so we can run errands, is this something you do?Yes, we offer Respite Care for family caregivers. Those caring full-time or part-time for a loved one are at risk of suffering from caregiver burnout. That’s why it’s critical to get regular breaks. We are ready to step in and provide respite for you on a short-term or long-term basis.

How much do your services cost?Our fees are based on an hourly rate. We offer a complementary assessment where we assess your needs and create a care plan together. At that time we will provide you with an estimate of costs, and you are under no obligation to follow through.

Is there a minimum amount of time required for each visit?The minimum time requirement for our homecare services is 4-6 hours per visit.

How do you invoice for the services?We issue weekly or bi-weekly invoices for services rendered, this depends on your preference. We will send you an invoice and you can pay via e-transfer, cheque or credit card.

I am nervous about having people I don’t know in my house, are you caregivers bonded?All of our caregivers undergo a thorough background check and a vulnerable sector check before being hired by us. All have experience in the field of caregiving.

Do your caregivers have any professional training?Many of our caregivers are CCA’s and PSW’s, and others are companion care givers who receive training from Remember When Homecare.

I don’t want someone different each time, can you accommodate that?We match our caregivers with our clients based on personalities and suitability. We try to schedule the same caregivers each time the best we can to accommodate the bonds that are made.
